The opera-casino of Monte-Carlo is a central institution in the life and economy of the principality. It is also the place of the jet set par excellence, and it is exciting to slip there to see the ballet of luxury cars circulating all around, people going to the site, and onlookers there also pressing. I wanted to account in my own way for this human comedy. A bit like hidden behind the tree branch in the foreground, I wanted to show the cars in the foreground in the background, and we see that these are indeed not the lowest end. While reflecting this whirlwind of appearances and conveniences in the heart of one of the temples of illusion but also of good times and pleasures.

Humanity has created cities and towns since Antiquity to gather there, to protect themselves, to find there commonly the facilities it needs, to exchange, to have fun there, in short to share there.
My images unearth sharing on every street corner; it is sometimes only about his idea or its evocation, even symbols.
The magic of the photo rests in this ability to freeze for eternity the unique and fleeting moment. So many moments, so many expressions gathered in a single framing. All these trajectories suddenly and for a short time combined. These thousand destinies then compose, through the eyes of the photographer, a great whole that exceeds everyone.
